Stephen Ministry
     Contact Person: Dave Althouse davmarty@ptd.net
     Meeting Time: 2nd & 4th Sundays/month 6:30-9pm
     Location: Lounge
Stephen Ministry provides listening care & support for those folks who are experiencing a difficult period in their lives (an aftercare program). Stephen Ministry has been in existence for almost 12 years at St. Paul and has served people in and out of our congregation. Our caregivers have devoted thousands of hours to provide the best Christ-centered care possible while letting God provide the cure. To become a Stephen Minister requires 50 hours of training and at least a two year commitment.  To become a Stephen Leader requires a week's worth of training from the Stephen Ministry Headquarters in St. Louis. This training is offered about 3 or 4 times a year at various locations in the United States. We would like to invite anyone who has an interest in Stephen Ministry to attend one of our meetings.

TeleCare Team
     Contact Person: Marsha Campbell
soup207@ptd.neto
     Meeting Time: 2nd Monday/month 1pm
     Location: Lounge
The TeleCare Team keeps a connected sense of community alive and well in our congregation. Our team is proud to know that our telephone calls mean so much to those members receiving them — when returning home from a hospital stay, being shut-in by age or illness, learning that they have been missed in regular worship services or being welcomed as a new or potential member. TeleCare Team members receive names of congregational members to contact from Pastor Gable. Our ministry uses the telephone, but calls are often followed up with a note, another call, or a visit.
