THE CHRISTIAN SERVICE BOX FOR OCTOBER will be given to Lutheran World Relief to help cover the shipping costs associated with sending collected items - blankets, quilts, personal care and school kits - to people in need. Thank you for your support of this important worldwide outreach. Do you have an idea for a mission or outreach project that could use some financial support? Submit your request to have a project designated as the recipient for a future month of the Christian Service Box. Forms are available at the church office. Questions? Contact Cindy Wingenroth at 627-2111 or email@example.com.

SIMPLY GIVING is an easy and convenient way to make donations to St. Paul. Simply Giving is an automatic checking account deduction plan that transfers your designated contribution directly to the church. You no longer have to complete an offering envelope; the church receives your offering every week; and saves the cost of purchasing envelopes. You can easily set up your contribution by using the St. Paul website (stpaullititz.net). More information is on the narthex television and instruction brochures are also available in the narthex. Direct questions to John Bell at 669-9560.
NEW MEMBERS WILL BE RECEIVED on November 22nd, Christ the King Sunday. Persons/families interested in joining St. Paul, please contact Pastor Straw for more information.
LADIES LUNCH BUNCH will gather at 11:30 on November 18, at Appalachian Brewing Co located at 55 N. Water St., Lititz. All ladies are welcome to join us and enjoy some great food and conversation! JOY TO THE WORLD! Seniors of St. Paul. The annual Senior Christmas Dinner will be held on Saturday, December 5 at 12 noon in the Social Hall. A delicious dinner will be served with all of the trimmings. Light entertainment will be held following the dinner. All of those who are 65+ along with spouse or significant other are invited to attend. Look for the sign-up sheet in the narthex activity book beginning Sunday, November 1. If you are unable to get to church to sign up call the church office (626-4709) or Mary Ann Seitz ( 626-9368 ). Need a ride? Just indicate on the sign-up sheet and we will help. St. Paul WELCA is the sponsor of this long running tradition.
DID YOU JUST FINISH READING the Senior Christmas Dinner announcement? Did you think to yourself that you would like to help? We can always use volunteers. People to cook, serve, set-up and clean-up are needed. Please consider becoming a part of this event. Those who have helped over the years will tell you that it is fun, fulfilling, and part of the Advent tradition of preparing for Christ’s birth. Please call (626-9368) or sign up on the volunteer sheet found in the activity book in the narthex. You will be glad that you did.
ATTENTION SEWERS: Patches and instructions to sew blanket tops are in a plastic container in the narthex. If you can help St. Paul get off to a start for next year's Ingathering, it will be gratefully appreciated by St. Paul blanket makers.

CALLING ALL BAKERS: The youth group will be providing food for the craft fair on November 13th & 14th. Would like to donate baked goods for the food stand? We would love to have them. If so, please bring them to the church during the day on Thursday, November 12th or Friday Nov. 13th. If you could package them the way you would want them sold, that would be great. We will price everything here. Thanks to everyone in advance! The money raised at the craft fair concessions will benefit our youth group program.
CRAFT GROUP: thanks to everyone who came to our picture frame and pinecone basket making evenings and to all who contributed items for the cause. Wow…we had so many supplies and we accomplished much more than I had anticipated due to all the helping hands along with Sandy Bingaman and Debbie Herr’s ideas and instructions. We are now gearing up for the actual craft fair which is what we were creating the frames and baskets for. We will be getting together on November 7th from 9:00am until about 2:00pm. in the social hall to put the finishing touches on our picture frames and baskets. That will replace our 2nd Tuesday Craft Night in November. We will also be working on signage and our list of volunteers to man the stand at the craft fair. We will be sharing a light lunch so please consider joining us. If you plan to attend contact me at email@example.com or 606-3439 and let me know what you would like to bring for the lunch. It is a day of fun and fellowship. Thank you again for your contributions, support and actual labor. Together with God’s presence we really can accomplish great things. Joyce Groff
