SUPPER CLUB: It’s time to sign up for Supper Club for next year. Supper Club is a group couples/singles who meet for dinners and socializing throughout the year. Groups of 4 couples/singles will be formed. Your group will then meet 4 times during the next year, once at each of the couples/singles home for dinner. Each group can decide how to organize the dinners for their group. This is a GREAT way to socialize and get to know others here at St. Paul! Look for the signup sheet in the Sign-Up book in the narthex the beginning of October. Please sign up by Sunday November 18th. If you are in need of babysitting, please indicate when you sign up. Many of our high school girls are interested in babysitting and we can give you a list of youth from our church who you may call for babysitting for supper club. The beginning of December, we will randomly select the groups, and inform each couple/single of your group. Any questions, please contact, Deb or Al Rothermel (627-2107 or firstname.lastname@example.org)

EXCEL IN THE GRACE OF GIVING: Last Sunday, the message in our stewardship program “Excel in the Grace of Giving” focused on “Overcoming Greed.” Today our theme is “More Blessed to Give.” God has ordained that we are blessed more through our giving than those who receive our gifts. Jesus said in Acts 20:35, “It is more blessed to give than to receive,” The Lord promises that as we give we will be blessed and refreshed so we can continue to give. “You will be made rich in every way so that you can be generous on every occasion, and through us your generosity will result in thanksgiving to God” (2 Corinthians 9:11).Please join us next week as we continue our series, “Excel in the Grace of Giving.”
