PASTOR GABLE’S CELEBRATION OF MINISTRY: Please mark your calendars for Sunday, May 31 following the 9:30am service in the social hall. This is an opportunity to say thank you to Pastor Gable for his ministry of over 14 years at St Paul on his last day with us before starting his next chapter in life, retirement! We will be collecting donations for his retirement gift. They can be sent to the church office with your donation marked for Pastor’s Retirement. They can also be put in the collection plate, Mutual Ministry mailbox # 15, or sent to Doug Hookway, Mutual Ministry Chair, 26 Round House Drive, Lititz. We are all looking forward to this opportunity for fellowship with Pastor Jim as he closes his official ministry with us.  Please sign up in the narthex!

THE LADIES LUNCH BUNCH will gather on May 20, at 11:30 at Aromas Del Sur located at 548 S. State Street in Ephrata.  All ladies are welcome to join us and enjoy some great Columbian food and conversation!  We hope to see you there.  Please sign up in the book located at the kiosk in the Narthex.  Any questions can be directed to Nancy Miller at 405-0000.

SPAGHETTI DINNER & AUCTION: On Sunday, May 17th at noon in the social hall, we will have a spaghetti dinner, silent auction and items to be auctioned.  This will benefit the youth gathering attendees going to Detroit.  Tickets are $5 and may be purchased in the narthex, or at the door.

WINE CLUB is Friday, May 15th.  There is a sign-up sheet in the Small Groups sign-up book.

THE NEXT MEN’S BIBLE STUDY and breakfast will take place at our church on June 13th starting at 7a.m.  All men are invited to attend.  Also we will need help with setting up tables and chairs plus some people to provide food.  Don Shaub will be the contact person for this event.

ST. PAUL GARDEN GROUP begins working its magic on the ten gardens in front of our church this Tuesday evening, May 12 at 6:30pm, weather permitting. Bring a hoe and a bucket. We will scratch out some early weeds to prepare the beds for mulching. We will only work one hour. All are welcome. Also, there are still some gardens waiting to be adopted and a "Rover" helper list that you can sign to commit as a more regular garden helper. Check the table in the narthex or call Marsha Campbell 626-8078.

CAPITAL CAMPAIGN UPDATE:  The total amount pledged and recorded so far for the Capital Campaign is $314,590.

ST. PAUL SENIORS GROUP: Join us on Wednesday, May 13 at 1:00pm in the lounge for our first Travel Presentation.  "Travel" with us through Normandy and Bordeaux in France; the Basque region of northern Spain; the Port wine city of Oporto, Portugal; and ending our trip in Scotland, England and Wales.  Our travel guides will be Don & Marsha Campbell and Don & Gayle Stauffer.

YOUR HELP IS NEEDED at our "MULCHING DAY" on Saturday, May 16 at 8am.  Wear your work clothes and bring your rakes and shovels as we mulch the flower beds in preparation for our Garden Group to begin planting.

MEAL SERVING MINISTRY OPPORTUNITY:  Our congregation is partnering with Zion Leola to help feed our neighbors through serving community dinners in Lancaster.  Help is needed for set-up, serving, and clean up.  These dinners serve approximately 200 people who might otherwise go hungry.  The next dinner will take place at Christ Lutheran on Thursday, May 21.  Volunteers (ages 15+) are needed for the following responsibilities:

* Set Up (2 or 3 people) – 3:00-5:00pm

                                * Serving/Clean up (4 people) – 5:15-6:45pm

If you are interested in volunteering, please sign up on the Kiosk in the Narthex or see Barb Paynter or Joyce Groff for more information.
