THE WORSHIP FLOWERS are presented by Bruce & Barbara Weaver to the glory of God and in honor of their 57th wedding anniversary.
FYI: Each week when the bulletin is printed, we post all of the announcements on the website under the Member Info Tab. The worship assistants are also listed with the announcements.
IF YOU ARE HAVING TROUBLE READING THE BULLETIN we can email you a copy each week for you to print in the size font that suits you, or you can view it on your tablet or electronic device. Just email Susan at firstname.lastname@example.org.
THE ARCHIVES SHOWCASE THEME centers on Advent Worship. Look for an old set of stoles, worn by pastors during Advent, as well as bulletins representing each of the four Sundays of Advent. Featured are Advent devotionals — both those made by members and those given to members — and a familiar Advent hymn from the 1929 Children's Hymnal & Service book.
CRAFT NIGHT: The next craft night will be Tuesday, January 13, at 7 p.m. We will be doing blanket making.
Power Packs Project Volunteers:
Jan. 8: Driver - Jenny Bitzer; Distributors - Jenny Bitzer, Mary Ann Seitz, Sue Yeager
A special THANK YOU to all of the wonderful volunteers who help with Power Packs each week! You not only feed 16 families each week, but you touch their hearts and share God's love with each of the families. May your families also be blessed this Christmas. With much appreciation, Barb.

MEN’S BIBLE STUDY and breakfast will occur on Jan. 3, 2015 at Zion Lutheran, Manheim at 7AM. All men are invited to attend. It would be nice to have more than two men from St. Paul at these breakfasts. Any questions, please contact Jim Millhouse.
“CHRISTMAS CARD POST OFFICE”: This year, we have a new option for how to send your Christmas cards to family and friends at St. Paul – there is a Christmas mailbox in the narthex. Just place your cards in the alphabetized mail slots corresponding with the recipient’s last name. Short on time? Place your cards in the basket by the mailbox and let us place them in the slots for you. Then, don’t forget to stop by the mailbox to check your own slot to pick up your cards each Sunday in December. And the best part….postage is FREE! So, share some Christmas cheer and send your Christmas cards to friends and family. If you have any questions, see our very own St. Paul Postmasters, Emily & AJ Paynter.
CHRISTMAS ANGEL TREE: Thank you for all of your generous gifts for children in need in Lititz! We have collected gifts for 46 children - that's a lot of smiles on Christmas morning! We will be delivering gifts on Tuesday, Dec. 23 from 6-8pm. Please contact Barb at email@example.com if you would like to help deliver gifts. We will meet in Barb's office at 6pm.
THRIVENT ACTION TEAMS: is a new opportunity through Thrivent Financial that will help financially support a fundraiser, service activity, or educational event where a group works together to have an impact on our community. St. Paul's first Thrivent Action outreach program will benefit our Angel Tree program. For more info on Thrivent Action Teams, please contact Don Shaub.
SENIOR SHEPHERDS: Starting on Monday, December 22nd, we will be meeting from 1-3 p.m. (in the side room of the social hall) for work sessions every Monday. In January, we will also resume our meetings on the 4th Thursday each month from 6:30 – 8:30 p.m.
COINS FOR CARING: The children collected Coins for Caring following the Children's Sermon the last three Sundays. Each Sunday through Advent, those children who have taken part in the Children’s Sermon will take cans around the sanctuary to collect loose change (or whatever monies are donated) to be distributed every week to a different charitable cause. This is to be a tangible lesson to the children that they can make a difference in someone’s life even if it’s just a few coins that they have to offer. This last week will go to the Warwick Community Chest.
THE LADIES LUNCH BUNCH will gather on January 21st at 11:30 a.m. at Café Chocolate, 626-0123, 40 E. Main St., Lititz. All ladies are welcome to enjoy some great food and conversation! We hope to have you join us. Please sign up in the book located at the kiosk in the narthex. Questions may be directed to Nancy Miller at 405-0000.
WORSHIP ASSISTANT SIGN UPS FOR CHRISTMAS EVE (6:30 Ushers & 9 p.m. Ushers, Communion Assistants, Crucifer, Book Bearer and 2 Torch bearers) are in the Red Worship Assistants Book. You will also find sign-up sheets for Lessons and Carols readings, and for watering the Poinsettias through January 3rd.
