Living Beyond Yourself: Exploring the Fruit of The Spirit by Beth Moore is a 10 week study of the fruit of The Holy Spirit as presented in the book of Galatians. Beth walks through each trait and encourages women to know the freedom of a Spirit-filled life and challenges you to develop the fruit by maintaining an intimate relationship with the Spirit of God. Offering envelopes will go to each appropriate congregation and loose offerings will be donated to Hurricane Sandy Relief North Lancaster Conference mission trip. THANK YOU FROM POWER PACKS: On Sunday, June 8, Kim McDevitt, the Executive Director of the Power Packs Project, was our guest speaker. A collection was taken to fund our upcoming partnership with Power Packs to feed the children of Bonfield Elementary School. Our collection totaled $868.30. PAUL WOMEN OF THE ELCA will be gathering for their Fall Guild meeting on Sat., Sept. 13th at 10 a.m. The speaker, Kelly Jacoby, will share her experiences in Thailand working with a group, Freedom Stones, which worked with human trafficking/prostitution victims. Kelly graduated from Grove City College and works for Bridge of Hope. The annual Service of Remembrance will be held to honor those women of St. Paul who have entered the Church Triumphant this year. A potluck lunch will follow. Bring a favorite dish to share. Beverages and dessert will be provided. Staple food items will be collected for the Warwick Community Chest. All women are invited.
