TODAY IS OUR CHRISTIAN Early Learning Center (CELC) Recognition Day. We will be recognizing the children, families, and staff during the 10:45 worship service. Thank you to the teachers and staff of our CELC for your dedication and service to the many children who attend our child care and preschool!
THE PASTORIAL TRANSITION COMMITTEE has been meeting with committees & small groups to listen to our members' opinions of St. Paul's strengths and needs as a congregation, where we would like to see our church in five years, and what type of leadership will guide us in our mission as a church. Today at 9:30am the Committee invites all members who would like to take part in this discussion to meet in the Nave.
ST. PAUL SENIORS LONGWOOD GARDENS Bus Trip is Tuesday, May 13. Depart from St. Paul at 8:30am on a charter bus and spend the day enjoying the beautiful gardens. Cost is $38/person and includes admission to Longwood Gardens and the bus trip & driver’s gratuity. Bus will depart Longwood at 4:00 with arrival back to St. Paul at 5:30pm. CHURCH SPRING MULCHING: On Saturday, May 10 at 8:30am we will be preparing our flower beds so the Garden Group can begin their spring planting. Please come & help us weed and mulch around the church property. Bring your garden gloves and rakes.
LCO SINGLES/CROSSFIRE TRIP TO JIM THORPE: June 28th & 29th, White Water Rafting: We will leave St. Paul at 8 a.m. for those wanting to car pool. Big Water departs at 10:20 a.m., $49.95; Calm Water departs at 1 p.m., $30. Wet suit rental is available. Camping is also available for under $20, Biking is also an option for $27. LITITZ MEALS ON WHEELS is in immediate need of volunteer “Team Leaders”, male or female, who will coordinate preparation and delivery of meals to homebound residents in the Warwick School District. No cooking or Meals on Wheels experience necessary, will train. We need Team Leaders for every Monday and the 4th Tuesday of the month. Among other duties, Team Leaders will: supervise 3 or 4 kitchen helpers, assist kitchen helpers as needed with meal prep and cleanup, answer the phone and coordinate the activities of the kitchen. Hours for this position are approximately 7:45 am to Noon. If you can volunteer on any of the above days, please call Debby Pegg at 201-2690. This is a very needed and worthwhile volunteer opportunity.
THE LADIES LUNCH BUNCH will gather on May 21, at 11:30 at Katie’s Grill located in Luther Acres at 600 E. Main St. in Lititz. All ladies are welcome to join us and we hope that we can have many, many of the Luther Acres residents join us! We are so excited to share in your lovely café. AFTER A PRODUCTIVE CRAFT NIGHT, patches for sewing blanket tops are in the narthex. Sewing instructions are included and completed tops can be returned to the same plastic tub.
RUTH CIRCLE will meet at St. Paul on Sunday May 18th at 9:15 a.m. in the library instead of May 4th due to us only having one service that day. Please mark your calendars!
