THE CHRISTIAN SERVICE BOX FOR SEPTEMBER will be to support St. Luke’s Community Lunches in Lititz. Each week St. Luke provides a free lunch to anyone in the community who would like to attend. This outreach takes place in their church where they do not even have a stove or oven. They are trying to raise funds to purchase an oven. Thank you for your support of this wonderful ministry.
THE WORSHIP FLOWERS are placed to the glory of God.

Please take a list, follow the steps to make a kit and put the finished kit in the container in the narthex marked "Personal Care Kits." Thank you for your generous help with this project.
IF ANY HIGH SCHOOL STUDENT MEMBERS will be parking in our parking lot during the school year, please come into the office and provide vehicle info and pick up a permit.
SIMPLY GIVING is an easy and convenient way to make donations to St. Paul. Simply Giving is an automatic checking account deduction plan that transfers your designated contribution directly to the church. You no longer have to complete an offering envelope; the church receives your offering every week; and saves the cost of purchasing envelopes. You can easily set up your contribution by using the St. Paul website (stpaullititz.net). More information is on the narthex television and instruction brochures are also available in the narthex. Direct questions to John Bell at 669-9560.
TRANSPORTATION: We are no longer able to use the Luther Acres bus on Sunday mornings. We are in need of a few people who would be willing to provide transportation for our members from Luther Acres (and Lititz homes) to church. Marion Gotwalt is in need of transportation (10:45 a.m. service) from her home on Linden St. If anyone is able to help, please contact the office.
2015 ENDOWMENT FUND REQUESTS: The opportunity to request Endowment Funds is now open and will remain open until Sunday October 25th. The Endowment Fund Request Forms can be found online at this link http://www.stpaullititz.net/endowment.html or if you prefer, there are printed forms outside the church office. Please return all Fund Requests to the Church Office by Sunday October 18th.
THE 2015-2016 WOMEN OF THE ELCA booklet can be picked up on the kiosk in the narthex.

LADIES LUNCH BUNCH will gather on October 21, at Zig’s Bakery & Café located at 800 E Newport Road, Lititz. I have had some of their food, but never stayed to eat there! I can’t wait to try the whole experience. The food and baked goods are delicious. All ladies are welcome to join us and enjoy some great food and conversation! Come share in the fun. Please sign up in the book located at the kiosk in the Narthex. Any questions can be directed to Nancy Miller at 405-0000.
BURGER BUNCH: Our next trip is to the Trio Bar and Grill, 3707 Marietta Ave., Silver Spring. Tucked back off the road halfway between Lancaster and Marietta, Trio is something of a hidden gem. They serve eight different burgers, including a Mac and Cheese Burger, an Ode to the Primanti Brothers (served on French fries and topped with cole slaw) and a Smokehouse Burger with barbecue sauce, bacon, pepper jack cheese and an onion ring. Then there is the Southwest Burger, served with a chipotle aioli, cheddar cheese, a generous helping of fresh salsa, and jalapenos. It’s going to be tough making a choice. Join us at Trio on Friday, October 16 at 6:00 PM. Sign up at the Kiosk in the church Narthex.
CA FOREST FIRES: Many of you will remember Daryl Hollinger, a former Music Director at St. Paul. He and his wife, Rev. Bonnie Hollinger’s church area in Murphy, California, has been severely impacted by the recent forest fires. Bonnie’s church has been helping to serve meals to evacuees and firefighters. On October 11 we will be taking a special offering that will be sent directly to Rev. Hollinger’s church, First Congregational United Church of Christ.
