DID YOU KNOW that our St. Paul Women of the ELCA are celebrating 25 years of service in 2012? Women have played an important role in the life of our church for many, many years. Take a look at the new display in the narthex showcase. From a mixing bowl used years ago in the church kitchen to a Hawaiian-themed Mother Daughter banquet program, this congregation's women have served well.
HELP IS NEEDED to sew blanket tops. There is a designated plastic tub in the narthex which contains patches to sew blanket tops at home at your convenience. Directions to sign out packet(s), a bag to put packets in and directions to sew and return completed tops are provided. Any questions, call Sue Long or Nancy Weiss.
SUPPER CLUB: Supper Club is a group couples/singles who meet for dinners and socializing throughout the year. Groups of 4 couples/singles will be formed. Your group will then meet 4 times during the next year, once at each of the couples/singles home for dinner. This is a GREAT way to socialize and get to know others here at St. Paul! Look for the signup sheet in the Sign-Up book in the narthex. Please sign up by Sunday November 18th. If you are in need of babysitting, please indicate when you sign up. Many of our high school girls are interested in babysitting and we can give you a list of youth from our church who you may call for babysitting for supper club. The beginning of December, we will randomly select the groups, and inform each couple/single of your group. Any questions, please contact, Deb or Al Rothermel (627-2107 or firstname.lastname@example.org)

THANK YOU FOR THE GENEROUS financial commitments you made during our “Excel in the Grace of Giving” Stewardship Program! “I tell you the truth, whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers of mine, you did to me” (Matthew 25:40). So speaks our Lord to you, the faithful members of our church. As we share our time, talents, and money through our church, we fulfill Christ’s command to “feed [his] sheep” (John 21:17). Our gifts support the ministry and mission of our church within its walls and beyond. “Let us not become weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up” (Galatians 6:9). As we contribute our blessings, those who observe this generosity are encouraged to become givers themselves. More importantly, God is honored as we use the gifts he has given us to serve others., Our service, done in his power and for his sake, will reap heavenly rewards as we hear our master say, “Well done, good and faithful servant!” (Matthew 25:23).
