THE CHRISTIAN SERVICE BOX collection for June is the ELCA Malaria Campaign. Did you know? 89 percent of the malaria deaths worldwide occur in Africa, especially among young children and pregnant women. Pastor Imani Chibona lost his young daughter to malaria last November. Your gift to the Christian Service Box this month will help support the ELCA Malaria Campaign.

KATHRYN ZUG recently retired as the teacher of St. Paul's 4 year old Sunday School class, a position she's held for 50 years. Her dedication and service are deserving of recognition. BLANKET MAKING sessions will be held on these Saturday mornings this summer: June 11, July 9 & August 13 from 9 a.m. - noon. These are in addition to the last Wednesday each month.
LCO SINGLES will meet on Friday, June 17th at 6 p.m. on the deck of the Hideaway in Mt. Gretna, if weather doesn’t permit, find us inside. Bowling will follow at Manheim Lanes. WELCA PROJECTS: The Annual Convention of the Lower Susquehanna Synodical Women’s Organization will take place June 24 & 25th. If you would like info on attending, contact Nancy Weiss at 626-0994. We will be taking quilts and lap robes, if you have been making them, we can deliver them at that time. We will also be taking donations of food pantry items, and Giant, and Weis Markets gift cards to be used for the seminarians and their families at Gettysburg Seminary. BOOK CLUB: The next meeting is Thursday, August 4, at 7 p.m. in the church lounge. The book is, “Three Cups of Tea”. The leader for the discussion is Gayle Stauffer. All women of St. Paul are invited.
TELECARE is a new ministry here at St. Paul. Its purpose is to keep a connected sense of community within our congregation through the telephone. The TeleCare Team, led by Marsha Campbell and Dawne Mellinger and guided by Pastor Gable, is looking for some more members. Do you have the time and interest to serve?
