SUNDAY SCHOOL FOR LITTLE ONES is the feature of the new display in the Archives showcase in the narthex. You'll find both Cradle Roll and Beginner's Department Promotion certificates from the late 1920's. There are a Children's Hymnal & Service Book, used during the early 1900's, and wooden offering plates that collected many pennies in their day. Look carefully at the 1913 photograph of the Sunday School classes posed in front of the Broad & Orange Street church for relatives you know. And imagine, if you will, the kind of local economy that was responsible for collecting a total Sunday School offering of $14.29 on Sunday, July 23, 1933. The Sunday School Records Book shows an attendance of 387 that day!
