THE CHRISTIAN SERVICE BOX for July is the Lititz Springs Park, which is a private park, maintained by the Churches of Lititz, for public use. The Park does not rely on municipal funding, but on the generous giving of the citizens of the community. Your contribution will not only assist with the expenses of the Fourth of July Celebration, but will help with continuing maintenance of the Park, including the Welcome Center/Train Station and other buildings.
SUNDAY SCHOOL FOR LITTLE ONES is the feature of the new display in the Archives showcase in the narthex. You'll find both Cradle Roll and Beginner's Department Promotion certificates from the late 1920's. There are a Children's Hymnal & Service Book, used during the early 1900's, and wooden offering plates that collected many pennies in their day. Look carefully at the 1913 photograph of the Sunday School classes posed in front of the Broad & Orange Street church for relatives you know. And imagine, if you will, the kind of local economy that was responsible for collecting a total Sunday School offering of $14.29 on Sunday, July 23, 1933. The Sunday School Records Book shows an attendance of 387 that day!

I WOULD LIKE TO THANK THE PEOPLE OF ST. PAUL who sent me cards, prayers and get well wishes. All were appreciated and I am healing nicely. Greta Weiler
