ALL ST. PAUL CHURCH WOMEN are invited to the February circle meetings, featuring a Bible study called "Servant-shaped Soldiers," presented by Marsha Campbell. The only "weapon" needed is your Bible; the only "order," an interest in Paul's letter to the Philippians. Kindly report for duty on either Wednesday, February 3, 1:15pm at the Luther Acres chapel, 600 E. Main St., Lititz or Sunday, February 7, 9:30am in the church library across from our nursery. This month the Circles will be collecting an additional special offering for Building Blocks of Hope, an initiative of the churchwide Women of the ELCA. This offering began many years ago as the St. Paul Women's February "Love Offering". The recipient of this year's offering will be the Warwick Community Chest Food Bank. If you wish to contribute and cannot attend please send contribution to Deb High, WELCA Treasurer, 2 Robert Road, Lititz, PA 17543.

The youth will be collecting after each service on that day. We will also be selling homemade soup after each service for $5 a quart. All money collected will also go toward the Community chest. Mark your calendars and get ready for a great service project!
PROPERTY COMMITTEE REPORT: The following repair items are being addressed: 1. The air conditioners for the office, rooms 103, 104, 105, 107, and 112 are very old and are not working properly. Because of the age of the units, parts cannot be purchased to make repairs, therefore new units must be purchased. The cost for this project is $18,795.00. 2. Lititz Borough is requiring us to replace sidewalks along S. Broad St. at the cemetery. Upon further inspection we found the sidewalks along S. Spruce St. are in bad shape and need replacing. Also there are sidewalk and other concrete issues, around the church proper that need addressing. The cost of all the concrete work is $36,108.00. The grand total for these two projects comes to $54,903.00. These are just two of the deferred maintenance issues related to the operation of our church. These items must be addressed in the very near future or they will become more costly if we continue to put them off. The property committee is made up of only three people, Marc Buckwalter, Dan Rusnock, and Jim Millhouse. We would like to see a few more people getting involved with this committee. If interested please contact Jim Millhouse.
THE SPECIAL COLLECTION taken for the Hammer's Mission trip to Tanzania was $870.00.
WELCA BOOK CLUB meets Thursday, February 4 at 7:00. This month is B.Y.O.B. (Bring Your Own Book). Tell us about what you're currently reading and enjoying or recommend an old favorite. We'll meet at the church but may car pool to Marion Gottwalt's house.
