A Spirit-filled life truly results in living beyond yourself.
WELCA BOOK CLUB meets August 7th at 7:00 PM in the lounge. The selection is Zealot: the Life and Times of Jesus of Nazareth by Reza Aslan. Aslan's Zealot is perhaps not the Jesus you thought you knew and his history is probably not the same history you learned in Sunday school, but he balances the Jesus of the Gospels against the historical sources and presents a well-researched picture of the "most consequential life ever lived." Everyone is welcome to join us for a thoughtful discussion of the life and times of Jesus of Nazareth.

Following worship, we will have lunch with hot dogs and drinks provided, and sponsored by Thrivent Financial. If you are able, please bring a salad, covered dish or dessert and appropriate serving utensil. Please note that there will not be an opportunity to plug in crock pots, so plan accordingly. Please sign up in the narthex by Sunday, August 17 so that that ample food and supplies are purchased. We ask that those who are able to please find parking at the Warwick high school and walk down into the park, or park elsewhere in Lititz, attempting to keep the park's small lot available for our more senior members.
